Semester Projects

Each semester, AMA members work together on hands-on projects that help them gain real-world marketing skills and experience. Projects can involve creating marketing campaigns, doing market research, designing promotional materials, managing social media strategies, or partnering with local businesses and organizations on consulting efforts.

Minnesuing Acres
(Fall 2025)

During this fall semester, we collaborated with Minnesuing Acres to develop a winter campaign, five leadership members had the opportunity to present the hard work the club put into making it a reality.

Harbor Monsters
(Spring 2025)

Fan Engagement & Brand Refresh

​

We provided new marketing ideas and creative promotional strategies by producing content across multiple channels, such as social media campaigns and billboard designs. We also created strategies to attract fans and increase game attendance. Additionally, We designed initiatives to expand the season ticket holder base and improve overall fan retention.

Solventum
(Fall 2024)

Curos Caps B2B Marketing Revival

​

We gained practical B2B marketing experience with a well-established medical device that had been on the market for over 20 years. Instead of launching new innovations, we worked on strategies to bring back excitement for the existing product. We designed campaigns aimed at healthcare decision-makers to renew interest in tried-and-true solutions. Our focus was on updating the value proposition and improving differentiation for competitive positioning.

Wallet Manufacturing & Marketing Strategy

​

     The main business challenge was that wallets were the most-searched product, but they had low conversion rates because of higher prices and lower quality. We looked into manufacturers and suggested a new leather supplier, which the company accepted. To support this change, We created a marketing campaign that included social media, website content, and commercial ideas. This helped reposition the wallet line and improve its competitiveness in the market.
